Computed from the frame format: 768 bytes of your file per 2.07 s frame (three 256-byte droplets; the rest of the frame is coding and the manifest), plus two spare frames. Measured in the test channel: 350–500 B/s. A lossy room needs a few extra frames, which the sender keeps producing until you stop it. Maximum 2 MB — above that, sound is the wrong tool.
